Summary:
◾For this month I made 1 new stock purchase GILD, and added some shares to my CVX with my FRIP account.
◾Dividend from stock/index that I received this month was: $562
◾Net: from rental income is -$3,864, Repairs are being made to the vacant property and I’m hoping we can market it next month. I have some big expense like painting and some minor repairs that ate into my repair budget.
◾Net worth increase +$7,466, doesn’t seem like a big increase like I wanted to, but it’s a positive.

    Nice job Jay, pretty much every figure went up for you so that’s always a good update. It sucks a bit that your rental properties are costing you money at the moment, oh well. Hopefully all the fixing up makes it very rentable.

      Yeah the market haven’t fluctuate to much in August. Yeah all the repairs I’m making is costing me a lot. I’m hoping my property manager will list it soon so I can get that vacant one renting again. Good thing I have a rental account reserve so I don’t have to tap into my main checking account yet.     Thanks for sharing your total net worth picture with us. Looks like those dividends are continuing to roll in. Not too many names in common paying us for the month but that’s OK too. GILD looks like an interesting play. I still want to get into the biotech space and have been watching GILD and AMGN for a while now. We’ll see if I ever pull the trigger on either.
